Cancun: Why it might be the best Caribbean destination for you

Due to its large volume of yearly visitors, Cancun’s international airport (CUN) makes it easy to find both direct and connecting flights in and out of the area. In fact, Cancun’s largest archaeological site, El Rey, is located right in the hotel zone and is home to a few local iguanas. There are also other smaller ruins located nearby but for those looking for a nice day trip, take a visit to Chichen Itza or Xcaret, both of which are located within an hour and half or less from Cancun. You’ll also find a large array of music to choose from including jazz, electronic, salsa, rock and more. Because the nightlife here is so famous, you’ll likely run into an internationally famous DJ or two that have come to play at one of the local clubs or bars. An added bonus?
