Although the Go Shanghai Pass is a great deal for lots of people, there are ways that it can be used that would make it not worth your time. To avoid this, you’ll want to plan out your day (or days) prior to your visit, or at the very least, the night before you activate your pass. This is because the pass is activated when you visit your first attraction and ends that same day if you choose the 1 day pass, and so forth. So if you purchase the 3 day pass but wait until the evening of the first day to visit an attraction, then you really only have 2 full days to use it, plus a little bit of the first day.
You’ll also want to make sure to stay away from visiting only lower costing attractions. If you end up only visiting attraction that are low in price if you pay directly at the gate, then you may find that the pass is actually more expensive.
